Key Investments and Ongoing Projects

Abu Dhabi’s national energy company, TAQA, is moving in this direction by investing 10 billion dirhams in a massive project in Morocco aimed at producing green hydrogen with a 6 GW capacity. This initiative is just a preview of the UAE’s more ambitious goal to produce 1.4 million tons of low-emission hydrogen annually by 2031 and reach 15 million tons annually by 2050.
